About the position

Computershare is seeking a permanent full-time Full-Stack Software Developer (Cloud/Web) to join our Computershare Issuer Services (CIS) team. This role is primarily based in Canton, MA, Edison, NJ, or Jersey City, NJ, and follows a hybrid work model, requiring three days a week in the office. The CIS team is dedicated to creating leading-edge software products that engage and delight both internal and external users, particularly our customers. As a Full-Stack Software Developer, you will be part of an Agile squad responsible for designing, constructing, deploying, and supporting innovative software products, most of which are deployed on the Azure cloud platform and delivered globally. In this position, you will collaborate closely with your assigned squad while also engaging with engineers from other squads within Issuer Services. This collaboration is essential for enabling effective application integration and promoting responsible software reuse. The software products you will work on are primarily cloud-based, utilizing a tech stack that includes Transact-SQL on SQL in the cloud, Azure Cloud, Azure DevOps, C#, .NET, and React with Typescript and NextJS. Your contributions will be vital in designing modern, user-friendly software that meets business requirements, constructing software using the appropriate technologies, deploying software through Azure DevOps to support continuous integration, and providing timely support for any issues that arise.

Responsibilities

  • Designing or assisting with the design of cloud-based software products.
  • Constructing software using appropriate technologies and tech stack to meet defined business requirements.
  • Deploying software using Azure DevOps to support continuous integration (CI).
  • Supporting software assigned to the squad with timely fixes based on priority and severity of issues discovered.
  • Collaborating with engineers in other squads to enable great application integration and responsible software reuse.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience in a similar role.
  • Proficiency in C# and modern versions of the .NET framework.
  • Experience with Transact-SQL DML and DDL on SQL Server.
  • Familiarity with React using Typescript and the NextJS framework.
  • Experience with Azure DevOps or similar build-release-configure environments.

Nice-to-haves

  • Certifications in React, .NET, C#, Azure, and Azure DevOps.
