About the position
As a Full-Stack Software Developer at Autodesk, you will play a crucial role in integrating AI technology into the AEC industry. This position involves collaborating with a diverse team to develop generative AI tools and foundation models that enhance customer workflows across flagship products like AutoCAD, Revit, and Construction Cloud. The role emphasizes quality software development practices and offers a hybrid work environment.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with engineers and experience designers to develop and test working software.
- Contribute to the implementation of individual software components, focusing on quality and test-driven development.
- Participate in software design reviews and conduct peer code reviews, providing feedback to the development team.
- Write unit, functional, and regression tests for the code created, contributing to test automation and continuous integration processes.
Requirements
- BS or MS in Computer Science or related technical field.
- 2+ years of software engineering experience.
- Previous front-end web development experience with Python, TypeScript, JavaScript, React, or Next.js.
- Experience with microservices and RESTful web services.
- Experience with OpenGL/WebGL or other graphics programming interfaces.
- Understanding of modern software practices including Continuous Integration, Continuous Delivery, and Infrastructure-as-Code.
- Experience with Scrum and Agile development processes.
Nice-to-haves
- Previous back-end development experience with Docker and Serverless/Lambda.
- Familiarity with Machine Learning/Data Science concepts and libraries like PyTorch and TensorFlow.
- Experience with 3D libraries such as three.js.
- Experience with C# and .NET framework.
- Familiarity with authentication providers using OAuth2.0.
- Familiarity with SageMaker.
- Experience in the AEC industry and Autodesk products such as Revit or Forma.
