About the position

As a Full Stack Software Developer at GDIT, you will play a crucial role in enhancing the safety and security of our nation. Your primary responsibility will be to work with cutting-edge applications that support the mission of the Intelligence Community (IC). This position requires you to be fully immersed in the client's domain, allowing you to deliver simple yet effective solutions to complex challenges. You will be working with highly cleared candidates who possess an active Top Secret SCI clearance with Polygraph. Your tasks will include software development, engineering, database design, and software testing in support of enterprise-wide systems and products for the IC. You will have the opportunity to work with the latest commercial products such as AWS, ServiceNow, and Oracle, as well as develop custom applications in an agile environment tailored for a diverse range of IC customers. Your expertise in Logistics and Inventory Management will be particularly valuable as the customer seeks to modernize their systems under tight deadlines. Familiarity with these areas, or with systems of similar complexity, will enhance your chances of success in this role. Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain full stack applications for the Intelligence Community.
  • Provide software development, engineering, database design, and software testing support.
  • Work with commercial products such as AWS, ServiceNow, and Oracle.
  • Develop custom applications in an agile environment.
  • Collaborate with clients to understand their complex needs and deliver effective solutions.
  • Integrate various systems, including Maximo and other upstream/downstream systems.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical discipline, or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum of 3 years of related experience in software development.
  • Experience with React as the application is transitioning to this platform.
  • Proficiency in Web Development technologies such as Vue.js, Angular, and Ext.js.
  • Experience in Application Development using Java, SpringBoot, REST & SOAP APIs, and messaging.
  • Familiarity with hosting environments like AWS, Tomcat, and WebSphere.
  • Database development experience with PL/SQL, Oracle, and RDS.

Nice-to-haves

  • Knowledge of Warehouse Management Systems (WMS).
