The Leidos Spatial Solutions team is seeking an experienced Full Stack Software Developer to enhance existing Government Off-The-Shelf (GOTS) code and integrate open-source software solutions for display and analysis within Aeronautical Production Systems. This position requires a candidate with a strong background in various programming languages and the ability to handle both front-end and back-end tasks effectively. The role is primarily remote, with a schedule that includes working from home three days a week and spending one day each at the St. Louis, MO office and the O'Fallon, IL office. In this role, the developer will leverage cloud computing expertise to administer and modify existing GOTS code, integrating open-source software solutions for web application display. Responsibilities include API development and database integration, particularly with React frameworks, utilizing various open-source packages for data visualization and filtering. The developer will also be responsible for code modifications that adhere to best practices in unit and build testing. The ideal candidate will have several years of experience with C#/Java and JavaScript/TypeScript, along with familiarity in working with PostgreSQL, Entity Framework, Visual Studio, and JSON APIs. The role also involves creating and documenting new and existing functionalities within software version control repositories (GitLab) and applying DevOps principles and tools to deliver new features within an Agile framework. Participation in Agile software development initiatives, including standups and planning sessions, is essential to support the innovation and enhancement of custom applications through iterative testing and functionality assessments. The position requires a proactive self-starter with excellent communication skills, capable of planning and prioritizing work effectively while maintaining attention to detail. The candidate must possess a BS degree or an Associate's degree with relevant experience, or a minimum of six years in a related field, along with an active TS/SCI security clearance.
