About the position
As a Full Stack Software Engineer II at LexisNexis Risk Solutions, you will be part of a dynamic team responsible for migrating applications to a new tech stack while supporting existing applications. This role involves moderate research, design, and software development assignments within specific software functional areas or product lines, focusing on delivering high-quality, scalable, and maintainable software solutions.
Responsibilities
- Delivering high-quality, scalable, and maintainable software solutions within the agreed timelines.
- Maintaining clear and comprehensive documentation of code, processes, and application architecture.
- Actively contributing to project planning, estimation, and progress tracking.
- Ensuring adherence to coding standards, best practices, and company policies.
- Providing mentorship and support to junior team members and actively participate in knowledge-sharing sessions.
- Collaborating with stakeholders to understand business requirements and deliver effective technical solutions.
Requirements
- Demonstrated experience with Frontend Development tools: Angular, TypeScript, HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript.
- Backend experience with Node.js, Golang, RESTful API design and development.
- Experience with SQL/NoSQL databases (e.g., MySQL, MongoDB).
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines, Docker, and cloud services (AWS, Azure, GCP).
- Proficient in Git for source control and collaborative development.
- Experience with unit testing, integration testing, and end-to-end testing tools.
- Familiarity with security best practices for web applications.
- Extensive problem-solving skills and the ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
- Basic knowledge of Software Development methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall).
- Good understanding of data modeling principles, data manipulation languages, and storage systems.
