About the position

The Full Stack Software Engineer position at Upward Talent involves developing software solutions that span both web and server-side engineering. The engineer will work collaboratively in a balanced team environment, focusing on delivering high-quality code and ensuring timely project completion.

Responsibilities

  • Perform full stack development ranging from web to server-side engineering.
  • Leverage modern frameworks, open-source tools, and cloud technologies to develop software effectively.
  • Develop working, tested code across the full stack of technologies.
  • Build distributed, service-oriented, cloud microservice-based architectures.
  • Develop components across all tiers of the application stack and integrate and deploy developed software.
  • Modify CI/CD pipeline and scripts to improve continuous integration practices.
  • Identify minimal viable product and decompose features by story slicing.
  • Identify inter-team dependencies and ensure timely resolution of team dependencies.
  • Ensure functional and non-functional quality and on-time delivery using agile and lean principles.

Requirements

  • 4+ years of full stack software engineering experience.
  • Experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
  • SQL experience in Oracle or PostgreSQL.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
  • Strong communication skills to interact with business customers.
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem resolution skills.
  • Ability to work individually and/or with a team.
