About the position

As a Full Stack Developer at Perry Johnson Mortgage Company, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining software applications across the entire development stack. Responsibilities

• Collaborate with product managers and other team members to understand project requirements and objectives.
• Design, develop, and maintain scalable and robust web applications, ensuring optimal performance and responsiveness.
• Implement both front-end and back-end components using modern technologies, frameworks, and languages.
• Conduct thorough testing to identify and resolve application bugs, performance issues, and bottlenecks.
• Work with database systems to design and optimize data storage solutions.
• Collaborate with UI/UX designers to create visually appealing and user-friendly interfaces.
• Stay informed about industry trends and emerging technologies, suggesting improvements and innovative solutions.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• Proven experience as a Full Stack Developer or similar role.
• Strong proficiency in front-end technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript and React.
• Strong back-end development skills using server-side languages, preferably NodeJS and Express.
• Experience with SQL database systems, data modeling, and query optimization.
• Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git) and collaborative development workflows.
• Understanding of web security best practices and experience implementing security measures.
• Excellent problem-solving and critical-thinking skills.
• Effective communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
• Proficiency in consuming and integrating third-party APIs.
• Expertise in designing and developing RESTful APIs.
• Experience with cloud services (AWS, Azure) preferred.
