About the position
The Full-Stack WordPress Developer at Sullivan will play a crucial role in the internal creative technology team, focusing on building innovative technology products and solutions across various sectors. This position emphasizes collaboration with creative and strategy teams to deliver high-quality web solutions while adhering to best practices in accessibility, security, and compliance.
Responsibilities
- Build world-class technology products and solutions across various sectors.
- Collaborate with creative, strategy, and technology teams to execute projects.
- Participate in rapid prototyping and deliver clean final code.
- Engage in stand-ups and peer code reviews to ensure quality and collaboration.
- Perform light DevOps tasks related to hosting environments.
Requirements
- 4+ years of agency experience working with creative and strategy teams.
- Proven experience building full sites in WordPress using modern technologies.
- Strong front-end development skills in HTML, JS, PHP, CSS/Sass, and Vue.
- Experience with integrating specialty JS libraries like three.js and D3.js.
- Deep understanding of template/component-based website architecture.
- Familiarity with CSS and JS animation techniques.
- Experience with front-end build systems like Gulp and Git methodologies.
- Ability to write custom code for WordPress themes and plugins.
- Familiarity with Drupal themes and Twig templating language is a plus.
- Experience developing with Gutenberg and ACF in WordPress.
- Experience interfacing with and writing code for APIs from external systems.
- Commitment to accessibility, security, and compliance best practices.
