About the position
The Assistant Store Manager at Pacsun plays a crucial role in supporting the Store Manager to lead a customer-focused and sales-driven store environment. This position is responsible for motivating team members, ensuring adherence to company policies, and maintaining operational excellence to enhance the customer experience. The Assistant Store Manager will also engage in various tasks to promote a positive shopping atmosphere and uphold the brand's values.
Responsibilities
- Assist the Store Manager in leading a customer-focused and sales-driven store.
- Inspire and motivate team members by exhibiting core value behaviors.
- Ensure execution of the Store's Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
- Handle customer situations in compliance with policies and procedures.
- Maintain a clean and organized store environment.
- Share customer feedback with the leadership team to improve experiences.
- Perform as the floor supervisor during non-peak periods.
- Coach and provide feedback on Sales Associate performance.
- Support associate engagement by recognizing outstanding performance.
- Prioritize and delegate tasks to meet operational needs.
- Maintain merchandise flow and presentation standards.
- Ensure all associates follow policies and safety practices.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Effective written, verbal, and presentation skills.
- Strong communication skills.
- Excellent time management skills.
- Proficient in math and strong computer skills.
