About the position
The Full Time Bilingual Nanny position involves providing attentive and engaging care for an 18-month-old child in a bilingual environment. The role requires a responsible and patient individual who can support the child's learning and developmental growth through age-appropriate activities. The nanny will also be responsible for meal preparation, light housekeeping related to the child, and maintaining communication with the parents regarding the child's progress.
Responsibilities
- Provide attentive care for an 18-month-old, ensuring safety, engagement, and development.
- Prepare meals and snacks for the child, following any dietary restrictions.
- Light housekeeping related to the child, such as cleaning up after meals, organizing toys, and keeping the child's space clean.
- Communicate in both English and Spanish to help foster a bilingual environment.
- Drive the child to any scheduled appointments or activities as needed (driver's license required).
- Provide consistent updates to the parents on the child's daily activities and progress.
Requirements
- Valid driver's license and reliable vehicle.
- Bilingual in English and Spanish.
- Prior experience with young children, either as a nanny or in a related professional setting.
- CPR/First Aid certification (preferred).
- Provide 3-5 professional references.
- Provide documentation verifying your legal authorization to work in the United States.
