Responsibilities

• Maintain client relationships with a focus on accuracy, efficiency, and personalized service
• Perform and review financial transactions, reconciliations, and general ledger maintenance
• Manage projects and ensure completion of firm checklists
• Process payroll for clients and prepare necessary quarterly and annual reports
• Collaborate with CPAs to support tax preparation and financial projects
• Organize and manage supporting documentation and workpapers, ensuring financial accuracy
• Provide insightful recommendations on firm policies and procedures for improved efficiency
• Actively contribute to our team environment through problem-solving and initiative

Requirements

• 5+ years in bookkeeping, payroll processing, and client management within a CPA firm environment
• Experience with QuickBooks Online, QuickBooks Desktop, Microsoft Excel, payroll tax returns, financial statement workpapers and financial statement preparation
