About the position

We are seeking a meticulous and detail-oriented Full-Time Bookkeeper to join our Ventosa family. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, managing accounts, and ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations. This role requires strong analytical skills, proficiency with accounting software, and the ability to work independently.

Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate records of financial transactions by establishing accounts and posting transactions.
• Reconcile and balance accounts.
• Prepare and process invoices, receipts, payments, and other financial documents.
• Ensure all financial data is recorded and reported accurately.
• Manage accounts payable and receivable.
• Prepare financial reports, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
• Assist with payroll processing.
• Monitor and review accounting and related system reports for accuracy and completeness.
• Assist in the preparation of budgets and forecasts.
• Ensure compliance with applicable laws and procedures.
• Collaborate with external auditors and provide necessary documentation.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a bookkeeper or in a similar role.
• Proficiency in QuickBooks & Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) software & basic bookkeeping and AP/R principles.
• Solid understanding of basic bookkeeping and accounting principles.
• High degree of accuracy and attention to detail.
• Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to work independently and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
