About the position

The Full-Time Customer Service Representative (CSR) at Avery Oil and Propane plays a crucial role in delivering exceptional customer service, fostering customer retention, and acquiring new customers. This position serves as the primary point of contact for customers, managing inbound and outbound calls, assisting walk-in customers, and performing various administrative tasks to ensure high-quality service and operational efficiency.

Responsibilities

  • Answer incoming calls and utilize a proactive sales approach with every customer interaction to uncover additional sales and service opportunities.
  • Present a professional, confident, and enthusiastic image to develop trusting relationships with all customers.
  • Manage a variety of administrative duties, including accurate data entry, maintaining records, and organizing essential documents.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in a customer service role.
  • Minimum of a High School diploma or GED preferred.
  • Solid computer skills including Microsoft Office, data entry, and the ability to run and analyze reports.
  • Ability to multi-task and prioritize assignments in a team environment.

Nice-to-haves

  • Knowledge of the Propane industry (not required but appreciated).
