About the position

The Customer Service Supervisor role at Kohl's involves leading and supervising associates to ensure excellent customer service and operational efficiency. The supervisor will coach and develop team members while managing point of sale processes and maintaining high service standards. This position requires a focus on achieving individual and storewide goals, supporting training initiatives, and ensuring compliance with company policies.

Responsibilities

  • Lead, coach and assist associates to deliver speed of service and create a compelling customer experience.
  • Meet or exceed individual goals and support the service team in meeting storewide goals.
  • Coach, teach and train associates on point of sale and customer service standards.
  • Support the training of associates on merchandising standards and product knowledge.
  • Oversee daily cash-related processes including register balancing and authorizing voided transactions.
  • Model and guide associates in customer service philosophies and resolving issues.
  • Support operational standards and merchandising presentation.
  • Prevent loss by educating associates and monitoring store activity.
  • Use key performance indicators (KPIs) to make informed business decisions.
  • Train and reinforce company policies and procedures.

Requirements

  • Must be at least 18 years of age or older.
  • Experience supervising teams or associates with responsibility for coaching to achieve daily goals.
  • Strong verbal/written communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Flexible availability, including days, nights, weekends, and holidays.

Nice-to-haves

  • 2 years experience in retail or similar industry.
