About the position

The Customer Service Supervisor is responsible for leading and supervising associates in delivering exceptional customer service and operational efficiency at the point of sale. This role involves coaching, training, and developing team members while ensuring adherence to company standards and processes. The supervisor will also oversee cash-related processes and support inventory accuracy, all while fostering a positive and inclusive work environment.

Responsibilities

  • Lead, coach and assist associates to deliver speed of service and create a compelling customer experience.
  • Meet or exceed individual goals and support the service team in meeting storewide goals.
  • Coach, teach and train associates on point of sale and customer service standards.
  • Support the training of associates on merchandising standards and product knowledge.
  • Oversee daily cash-related processes including register balancing and authorizing voided transactions.
  • Model and provide direction to associates while demonstrating a customer service mindset.
  • Support operational standards and prevent loss by educating associates and monitoring store activity.
  • Use key performance indicators (KPIs) to make informed business decisions.
  • Accomplish multiple tasks within established timeframes.
  • Maintain adherence to company safety policies.

Requirements

  • Must be at least 18 years of age or older.
  • Experience supervising teams or associates with responsibility for coaching to achieve daily goals.
  • Strong verbal/written communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Flexible availability, including days, nights, weekends, and holidays.

Nice-to-haves

  • 2 years experience in retail or similar industry.
