About the position

The Full Time Data Utilization Specialist will play a crucial role in managing the company's SharePoint site and providing advanced Power BI expertise. This position is designed to enhance collaboration and information sharing across the organization while developing insightful reports and dashboards to support data-driven decision-making.

Responsibilities

• Administer and maintain the company's SharePoint site, ensuring optimal performance and security.
• Design, develop, and manage SharePoint sites, libraries, lists, and workflows to meet business requirements.
• Provide user support and training on SharePoint functionalities and best practices.
• Monitor and troubleshoot SharePoint issues, implementing solutions promptly.
• Collaborate with IT and other departments to integrate SharePoint with other business systems.
• Develop, publish, and maintain Power BI reports and dashboards to provide actionable insights.
• Work with stakeholders to understand their data needs and translate them into effective Power BI solutions.
• Ensure data accuracy and integrity in Power BI reports by performing regular data validation and quality checks.
• Stay updated with the latest Power BI features and best practices to continuously improve reporting capabilities.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or equivalent combination of experience and education.
• Proven experience in managing SharePoint sites and developing Power BI reports.
• Strong understanding of SharePoint architecture, administration, and customization.
• Proficiency in Power BI, including DAX, Power Query, and data modeling.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with diverse teams.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously.

Nice-to-haves

• Microsoft SharePoint and Power BI certifications.
• Experience with SharePoint Online and Office 365.
• Knowledge of other data visualization tools and technologies.
