Mountain View Family Dentistry is seeking a Full Time Registered Dental Assistant to join our team. This role focuses on providing exceptional patient care in a supportive environment, specializing in treating anxious patients and offering a variety of dental services. The position requires clinical hours and emphasizes building relationships with patients while ensuring their comfort during appointments.
Responsibilities
- Chairside dental assisting
- Occasional assisting periodontist (specialist)
- Intraoral scanning
- Ensure patients feel as comfortable as possible during appointments
- Sterilize dental instruments
- Check oral and health history
- Give instructions to patients after operations or other dental procedures
- Take X-rays and make dental impressions
- Maintain documentation and charts on each patient and write chart notes
- Maintain records of personal notes about each patient
- Monitor and order supplies
Requirements
- CPR Certification
- High school diploma or GED
- Registered Dental Assistant
- 1 year of patient care experience
- Experience in documentation review
