The Dishwasher position at Ole Red Gatlinburg involves operating dishwashing equipment to ensure cleanliness and sanitation of kitchen utensils and dining ware in a fast-paced restaurant environment. The role is essential for maintaining the kitchen's operational efficiency and adhering to health and safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Operate dishwasher to clean dishes, silverware, tumblers, glasses, pots, and pans.
• Wash dishes, glasses, pots, pans, etc.
• Clean and maintain all trash bins.
• Deposit kitchen and dish room garbage in dumpsters.
• Keep floor clean, free of spills, food, and trash and other obstacles.
• Ensure proper rotation of all dishes, pots, pans, storage bins, etc., including lifting items up to 40 lbs.
• Comply with applicable Health Codes by ensuring that all eating/cooking utensils are cleaned, maintained, and stored properly.
• Adhere to all Ole Red policies and safety standards.
• Assist other employees as needed.
• Perform all opening and closing duties.

Requirements

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience with industrial dishwashing machines preferred.
• Experience with kitchen and restaurant operations preferred.
• Proper sanitation knowledge.
• Operation of garbage compactor/disposal.
• Restaurant busing experience.
• Organization skills.
• Attention to detail.
