About the position

The Dishwasher position at Ole Red Orlando is a vital role responsible for maintaining cleanliness and sanitation in the kitchen and dining areas. This position ensures that all dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment are properly cleaned and stored, contributing to the overall efficiency of the restaurant's operations.

Responsibilities

• Wash dishes, glasses, pots, pans, etc.
• Clean and maintain all trash bins.
• Deposit kitchen and dish room garbage in dumpsters.
• Keep floor clean, free of spills, food, and trash and other obstacles.
• Ensure proper rotation of all dishes, pots, pans, storage bins, etc., including lifting items up to 40 lbs.
• Keep up with a fast-paced, high-volume kitchen and restaurant environment.
• Comply with applicable Health Codes by ensuring that all eating/cooking utensils are cleaned, maintained, and stored properly.
• Adhere to all Ole Red policies and safety standards.
• Assist other employees as needed.
• Perform all opening and closing duties.

Requirements

• Experience with industrial dishwashing machines preferred.
• Experience with kitchen and restaurant operations preferred.
• Proper sanitation knowledge.
• Operation of garbage compactor/disposal.
• Restaurant bussing knowledge.
