This is a full-time, 9-month, campus-based, open-rank faculty position in the Information Systems Department at Stevenson University, specifically within the Brown School of Business and Leadership (BSOBL). The role encompasses a variety of responsibilities including teaching, course development, student advising and mentoring, service to the school, department, and university, as well as continued scholarship in the field. The faculty member will be expected to teach between 24 to 30 contact hours per academic year, which may include both undergraduate and graduate courses in the Computer Information Systems (CIS) and Cybersecurity and Digital Forensics (CDF) programs, delivered in both campus-based and online formats. Additional responsibilities include student recruitment, retention, and placement efforts, program assessment, and active engagement in the university community. The rank and title of the position will be determined at the time of hire and will be commensurate with the candidate's education and experience. The faculty member will fulfill all responsibilities as defined in the Stevenson University Policies and the BSOBL Full-Time Faculty Job Description. This includes maintaining teaching effectiveness through active student engagement, reflecting on student evaluations, and adjusting teaching strategies based on feedback. Faculty are also expected to participate in curriculum development, student advising, and various departmental and university service activities.
