About the position

The Fulfillment Team Lead at Lowe's is responsible for overseeing the fulfillment process, ensuring quality customer service, and maintaining a safe and stocked store environment. This role involves managing and coaching Fulfillment Associates, checking and fulfilling orders, and engaging with customers to assist them in their shopping experience. The position requires a blend of supervisory skills and customer service expertise, with a focus on meeting customer needs efficiently.

Responsibilities

• Pick and check merchandise for customer pickup, delivery, and installer pickup.
• Engage with customers in a friendly and professional manner, assisting them in finding merchandise.
• Encourage safe work practices among team members.
• Manage and fulfill various types of orders, including online and in-store pickups.
• Provide supervision, coaching, and support to Fulfillment Associates.
• Make recommendations to solve issues and prioritize work to meet customer needs.

Requirements

• Ability to read, write, and perform basic arithmetic (addition, subtraction).
• 6 months of experience using a computer for data input and management.
• 6 months experience with retail technology, such as smartphones and tablets.
• 1 year of retail experience providing customer service and resolving customer issues.
• Ability to obtain sales-related licensure or registration as required by law.

Nice-to-haves

• 6 months experience working in any department at a Lowe's retail store.
• 6 months of experience in an administrative role processing and filing paperwork.
• 1 year of supervisory experience in any field, including training and coaching employees.
• 1 year of experience in a customer service or product fulfillment position at a home improvement retailer.
