About the position

The Fulfillment Team Lead at Lowe's is responsible for overseeing the fulfillment process, ensuring that customer orders are picked, checked, and prepared for pickup or delivery. This role emphasizes quality customer service, safety, and effective team management, while also engaging with customers to assist them in finding products and resolving issues. The Fulfillment Lead plays a crucial role in coaching and supporting Fulfillment Associates to meet customer needs efficiently.

Responsibilities

• Pick and check merchandise for customer pickup, delivery, and installer pickup.
• Engage with customers in a friendly and professional manner, assisting them in finding merchandise as needed.
• Encourage safe work practices among team members.
• Manage and fulfill various types of orders, including online, pickup later, delivery, and installation orders.
• Provide supervision, coaching, and support to Fulfillment Associates.
• Make recommendations to solve issues and prioritize work to meet customer needs.

Requirements

• Ability to read, write, and perform basic arithmetic (addition, subtraction).
• 6 months of experience using a computer for inputting, accessing, modifying, or outputting information.
• 6 months experience using common retail technology, such as smartphones and tablets.
• 1 year of retail experience providing customer service, including identifying and resolving customer issues.
• Ability to obtain sales-related licensure or registration as required by law.

Nice-to-haves

• 6 months experience working in any department at a Lowe's retail store.
• 6 months of experience in an administrative role processing and filing paperwork including invoices.
• 1 year of supervisory experience in any field, including directing, delegating, evaluating, training, and coaching employees.
• 1 year of experience in a customer service or product fulfillment position at a home improvement or hardware retailer.
