We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Full-Time Maintenance Technician to join our Facility Services company based in Wilmington, Delaware. This position involves providing maintenance services across various commercial sites, primarily in Philadelphia, PA, and occasionally in Albany, NY and Baltimore, MD. The Maintenance Technician will be responsible for a wide range of tasks that ensure the functionality and safety of the facilities we manage. The standard working hours are from 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM, Monday through Friday, although evening and weekend work may be required for emergency situations. A valid driver's license is essential for this role, as travel to different locations is a key component of the job. The Maintenance Technician will perform various maintenance duties, including but not limited to commercial maintenance work, changing door locks, replacing light bulbs, minor plumbing and electrical work, unclogging toilets, hanging items on walls, and performing minor repairs on drywall and glass. Additionally, the technician will be responsible for assembling office furniture and equipment, patching drywall, painting, and conducting minor appliance repairs, as well as HVAC work. The role requires physical stamina, as the technician must be able to lift over 20 pounds regularly, bend, stretch, stand for extended periods, climb stairs and ladders, and perform various physical tasks as needed.
