Full Time General Warehouse Team Member

About the position

The General Warehouse Team Member at Walgreens is responsible for processing and shipping orders to customers. This role involves various tasks such as receiving, scanning, picking, packing, auditing, and shipping merchandise, while ensuring a clean and safe work environment. The position requires accountability in inventory management and adherence to quality standards set by the distribution center management.

Responsibilities

• Receiving and scanning merchandise.
• Picking and packing orders for shipment.
• Auditing inventory and ensuring accuracy in orders.
• Shipping merchandise to stores that service customers.
• Tracking inbound and outbound items using radio frequency (RF) scanning.
• Maintaining a clean and safe work environment in the distribution center.
• Ensuring all areas are well maintained and free of debris.
• Maintaining quality standards set by management.

Requirements

• Willing to work a flexible shift including overtime as needed.
• Able to stand for 8-10 hours with or without reasonable accommodation.
• Able to perform physical tasks including pushing, pulling, bending, grasping, and lifting up to 50 pounds with or without reasonable accommodation.
• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• At least two years of experience in a warehouse or distribution center is preferred.
• At least 6 months of experience operating motorized material handling equipment is preferred.
• At least 6 months of experience with radio frequency (RF) scanning is preferred.
• At least 6 months of experience entering and retrieving data in an inventory management system is preferred.
