About the position

As a Full Time Head (Lead) Teller at the Memphis Municipal Employees Federal Credit Union, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional customer service and ensuring the smooth operation of banking transactions. Your primary responsibilities will include assisting customers with processing various transactions such as deposits, withdrawals, and payments. You will also be responsible for resolving any complaints or discrepancies related to customer accounts and answering inquiries regarding bank products and services. Your role will require you to track, record, report, and store information related to transactions, bank supplies, and customer interactions, ensuring that all information is accurate and complete. In addition to customer service, you will maintain and balance cash drawers, reconciling any discrepancies that may arise. You will be tasked with packaging cash and rolling coins for storage in drawers or the bank vault, ensuring that all cash handling is done in a responsible manner. Keeping a clean and organized work area is essential, as is maintaining a professional appearance at all times. You will also be required to handle currency, transactions, and confidential information with the utmost care and discretion. Your role will involve using software to track bank information and generate reports, and you will need to follow all bank financial and security regulations and procedures diligently. This position is vital to the overall customer experience and operational efficiency of the credit union, and you will be expected to embody the values of professionalism and accountability in all your interactions.
