The Warehouse Operations role at Target involves working in a fast-paced environment where safety and efficiency are paramount. This includes attending safety trainings to learn how to operate safely within the warehouse. The primary responsibilities include packing, loading, and shipping items to stores and guests, ensuring accurate processing of merchandise, and maintaining a clean and organized work area. Employees must report to work on time and complete assigned tasks accurately and promptly. Additionally, engaging in problem-solving to support continuous improvement is encouraged, and maintaining a positive and respectful attitude while working independently or as part of a team is essential. The job may require lifting and carrying merchandise weighing between 35-50 lbs frequently and up to 60 lbs occasionally. Employees will be expected to stand, walk, push, pull, squat, bend, and reach during their shifts. Basic math skills are necessary for counting and measuring, and the ability to read labels and product documentation is required. Employees will also need to operate computer systems or handheld devices with minimal direction after training. Good written and oral communication skills are essential, and proficiency in English is required to follow safety policies and instructions. For the Warehouse Worker position, additional requirements include the ability to be trained on and operate powered equipment safely, such as pallet riders and forklifts, and to work at heights of up to 40 feet when necessary. In food distribution centers, employees may also need to work in temperature-controlled environments, including refrigerators and freezers, for a significant portion of their shifts. Responsibilities

Requirements
- Able to lift and carry merchandise weighing 35-50 lbs frequently throughout a shift.
- Able to lift and carry merchandise weighing up to 60 lbs occasionally throughout a shift.
- Stand, walk, push, pull, squat, bend, and reach during shifts.
- Maintain a positive and respectful attitude while working independently and in a team environment.
- Able to accurately use basic math skills (counting, addition, subtraction).
- Able to accurately read labels, tickets, and other product documentation.
- Able to operate computer systems or handheld devices with minimal direction after receiving training.
- Good written and oral communication skills.
- Must be able to understand, speak, and read English with sufficient proficiency to follow safety and other policies, trainings, and instructions.
Nice-to-haves
- Able to be trained on and operate all powered equipment safely (including but not limited to Pallet Rider, Scissor Lift, Sit Down & Standup Forklift), and work at heights of up to 40ft where applicable.
