About the position

New York City is seeking a Full-Time Household Manager/Personal Assistant to support a wonderful family in managing their multiple households. This role is perfect for someone who is a Jill of all trades, self-confident, adaptable, and a total team player. The position requires a commitment to working Monday through Friday from 9 AM to 6 PM, with a salary range of $125,000 to $150,000 per year, and the potential for a higher salary for the right candidate with extensive experience. The Household Manager will be responsible for overseeing the daily activities of a 5-year-old son and a 3.5-year-old daughter, ensuring their needs are met while also managing household tasks efficiently. The ideal candidate will have at least five years of professional experience in household management or personal assistance, with a proven track record of managing multiple properties. A valid CPR/first aid certification is required, along with excellent references and a clean driving record. The candidate should also be TrustLine Registered and possess a reliable vehicle. This position is expected to start as soon as possible, making it an urgent and exciting opportunity for the right individual.

Responsibilities

  • Manage daily household operations and ensure smooth functioning of the household.
  • Provide personal assistance to family members as needed.
  • Oversee the care and activities of the children, ensuring their safety and well-being.
  • Coordinate schedules, appointments, and activities for the family.
  • Maintain organization and cleanliness of the household.
  • Handle errands, shopping, and other household tasks as required.

Requirements

  • Five years of professional household management or personal assistance experience.
  • Experience managing multiple properties.
  • Valid CPR/first aid certification.
  • Excellent references from previous employers.

  • Possession of a clean and reliable vehicle.
  • Must be local to New York.
