About the position

The University of Arkansas - Pulaski Technical College is seeking a Full-Time Instructor of Mathematics for the Spring 2025 semester. This position involves teaching responsibilities across multiple campuses, including the potential for online and live-streamed courses. The instructor will be expected to develop course materials, assess student learning outcomes, and maintain accurate student records while fostering a collaborative and supportive learning environment.

Responsibilities

  • Develop course materials, assignments, and assessments for student learning outcomes.
  • Manage accurate student records and submit syllabi, roster certifications, grades, and assessment reports in a timely manner.
  • Follow institutional and departmental policies regarding course and college procedures.
  • Establish and maintain positive, collaborative working relationships with students, colleagues, and staff.
  • Utilize contemporary educational techniques and technologies in teaching.
  • Participate in non-instructional activities such as professional development, student advising, and committee work.
  • Attend school and department meetings and complete assigned trainings.
  • Perform all other duties as assigned related to the full-time instructor position.

Requirements

  • Master's degree in Mathematics or a related field.
  • A minimum of 18 graduate-level credit hours in Mathematics.

Benefits

  • Salary range of $43,000 - $45,000.
