Responsibilities

  • Teach a First-Year Seminar and upper-level courses that can be cross-listed with Latino Studies, Gender Studies, and/or Race and Ethnicity Studies.
  • Grade assignments and provide feedback to students.
  • Be available to students for questions and assistance.
  • Advise students on course registration.

Requirements

  • PhD in History preferred; ABD candidates considered.
  • Evidence of outstanding teaching or teaching potential.
  • Commitment to creating inclusive learning environments for a diverse student body.
  • Ability to teach in-person courses on Elmhurst University's campus.
