About the position

We are currently seeking a Full-time Licensed CPA that is self-motivated, can work with minimal supervision, and meet deadlines to join our team! This position is crucial for our CPA firm located in Hemet, CA, where we provide accounting and tax services to a diverse group of industries including medical, agricultural, retail, manufacturing, real estate, and service industries. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing and examining accounting records, financial statements, taxes, and other financial reports. Additionally, the CPA will develop and analyze reporting for business operations and budgets, perform audits to ensure adherence to standard requirements, and create new processes to improve financial efficiency. Reporting analysis and findings to the management team will also be a key responsibility, along with mentoring staff accountants to foster their professional growth. The role demands a strong understanding of accounting principles and practices, as well as the ability to navigate complex tax issues at federal, state, and local levels. The CPA will be expected to work diligently, especially during tax season, where additional hours will be required to meet demand, often exceeding 40 hours weekly. Compensation will be aligned with the candidate's experience, ability to contribute to the team, and overall impact on the firm's bottom line. Requirements
