About the position

The STEM Nanny Company is seeking a full-time, live-in nanny for two young children in West University, Houston, TX. This role involves creating a structured yet fun environment for the children, encouraging their independence, and helping them develop key life skills. The ideal candidate will have a warm demeanor and be able to form a close, long-term relationship with the family while managing the day-to-day routines of the children.

Responsibilities

• Transport the children to and from school, activities, and appointments
• Plan creative, educational activities to keep the children engaged and learning
• Assist with light preschool tasks and help them with their routines
• Prepare meals for both children and parents twice a week
• Perform light housekeeping, including tidying up common areas and managing laundry for both children and parents

Requirements

• At least 5 years of professional childcare experience
• Confident, proactive, and communicates well with both children and parents
• Fully vaccinated against COVID-19

Nice-to-haves

• Experience working with children with ADHD or speech delays
