The Full-Time Nanny/Family Assistant position is designed for a compassionate and experienced caregiver to support a 4-year-old boy with Autism in San Carlos, CA. Responsibilities

• Create a nurturing and positive environment for the child, encouraging development through outdoor activities and creative play.
• Manage the daily schedule, including pick-ups and ensuring punctuality.
• Assist with light organization and tidying of the child's surroundings.
• Establish and maintain good boundaries with the child, fostering a loving atmosphere.
• Support the child's therapy sessions and daily routines, including meals and bedtime.
• Engage the child in fun outings during school holidays, such as visits to museums and parks.

Requirements

• A minimum of 3-5 years of recent, professional experience in childcare.
• Experience working with children on the autism spectrum is preferred.
• Strong English communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Impressive references from past employers demonstrating reliability and professionalism.
• Possession of a valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
• CPR certification (if applicable).
• Current vaccinations, including flu, Tdap, and proof of Covid-19 vaccination and booster.

• Experience with speech therapy and ABA therapy is a plus.
