Cedars 94 Apartments is seeking a Maintenance Technician II to join their property team! As a Maintenance Technician II, you will be responsible for providing unparalleled service to our residents by maintaining and improving the overall appearance of the property. This role includes full-time responsibilities with on-call duties, ensuring that the physical aspects of the apartment meet company standards and applicable laws by diagnosing problems, making repairs, tracking accomplishments, and performing necessary follow-up. You will be expected to troubleshoot and repair appliances, HVAC systems, plumbing, and electrical issues, ensuring unoccupied apartments are ready for occupancy by performing various maintenance tasks. This includes electrical, HVAC, plumbing, carpentry, appliance repair, and overall apartment cleaning. You will also assist the Property Manager or other team members with special projects or requests, contributing to the achievement of occupancy goals by effectively performing maintenance duties that promote a quality living experience for residents. Your responsibilities will include completing maintenance service requests, documenting the status of each request, and ensuring appropriate follow-through. You will perform electrical repairs, plumbing work, carpentry tasks, and maintain the grounds and common areas, including snow and ice removal. Additionally, you will oversee the work of subcontractors and maintain accurate records regarding preventive maintenance and service requests. This position requires strong professionalism and integrity as a representative of the community, along with compliance with all industry Fair Housing rules and regulations. You will also be responsible for maintaining a clean and appealing community environment, operating within OSHA standards and company safety policies at all times.
