As a Merchandising Service Associate at Lowe's, you will play a crucial role in delivering exceptional customer service while executing merchandising tasks. Your primary responsibility will be to ensure that merchandise resets are completed according to Lowe's specifications, which involves building relationships with vendors and collaborating with the Merchandising Service team and Manager. You will communicate project priorities, schedules, and needs, while also analyzing metrics to provide feedback on project execution and in-store service to store, market, and corporate leaders. Although the majority of your time will be spent on tasks that do not involve direct customer interaction, you will be expected to engage with customers when opportunities arise. This includes understanding customers' needs and assisting them in locating, demonstrating, selecting, carrying, and loading merchandise. You will also be responsible for listening to and responding knowledgeably to customer inquiries, providing information about stock, special orders, and warranty details related to Lowe's programs. In addition to customer service, you will be involved in maintaining in-stock conditions by moving or replacing beams and grids, rotating stock, and building displays using power equipment. You will identify and manage damaged products, verify buyback items, and ensure that product pricing information is visible and accurate. Your role will also include maintaining a clean and safe store environment by completing assigned tasks, ensuring compliance with safety standards, and conducting daily safety reviews. You will operate various store equipment as needed and maintain point-of-sale signage to ensure pricing accuracy.
