As a Merchandising Service Associate at Lowe's, you will play a crucial role in delivering exceptional customer service and ensuring that our merchandising standards are met. You will be responsible for building strong relationships with vendors, ensuring that merchandise resets are completed according to Lowe's specifications, and collaborating with the Merchandising Service team and Manager to communicate project priorities, schedules, and needs. Your analytical skills will be put to use as you analyze metrics and provide feedback on project execution and in-store service to store, market, and corporate leaders. While the majority of your time will be spent on tasks that do not involve direct customer interaction, you will still be expected to engage with customers when opportunities arise. This includes understanding customers' needs and assisting them in locating, demonstrating, selecting, carrying, and loading merchandise. You will also be responsible for listening to and responding knowledgeably to customer and employee questions, demonstrating sincere appreciation to customers, and communicating information regarding stock, special order merchandise, and warranty information related to Lowe's programs. In terms of in-stock responsibilities, you will be involved in moving or replacing beams and grids, rotating stock, building products, and displaying products and support materials using power equipment. You will identify damaged products, verify buyback items, and ensure that product pricing information is visible and clear. Additionally, you will work with store leadership to stage clearance and damaged merchandise for quick sale, sort products in bins, drawers, and boxes, and maintain a clean and safe store environment. Your role will also include reviewing and entering completion details for all assigned merchandise reset, service, and maintenance tasks, ensuring compliance with safety requirements, and operating store equipment as needed. You will be held accountable for maintaining point-of-sale signage, auditing and updating pricing labels, and following state-specific guidelines on price changes.
