About the position

The Merchandising Service Associate at Lowe's is responsible for providing exceptional customer service while executing merchandising tasks. This role involves collaborating with the Merchandising Service team, building vendor relationships, and ensuring that merchandise resets are completed according to company specifications. The associate will also engage with customers to assist them in locating and selecting merchandise, while maintaining a clean and safe store environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide SMART customer service by executing Lowe's customer service policies and procedures.
• Build relationships with vendors and ensure merchandise resets are completed according to specifications.
• Collaborate with the Merchandising Service team and Manager to communicate project priorities and needs.
• Analyze metrics and provide feedback on project execution and in-store service to leadership.
• Engage with customers to understand their needs and assist them in locating and selecting merchandise.
• Move or replace beams and grids, rotate stock, and build displays using power equipment as per project instructions.
• Identify and remove damaged products from shelves and manage buyback items for shipping.
• Update and validate signage and product location information throughout the store.
• Ensure product pricing information is visible and resolve any missing pricing labels.
• Stage clearance and damaged merchandise for quick sale in collaboration with store leadership.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the store and working areas, adhering to safety standards.

Requirements

• Ability to provide excellent customer service and engage with customers effectively.
• Experience in merchandising and retail operations.
• Familiarity with using power equipment for merchandising tasks.
• Strong communication skills to collaborate with team members and vendors.
• Ability to analyze metrics and provide actionable feedback.
