About the position

The Merchandising Service Associate at Lowe's is responsible for providing exceptional customer service while executing merchandising tasks. This role involves collaborating with the Merchandising Service team, building vendor relationships, and ensuring that merchandise resets are completed according to company specifications. The associate will also engage with customers to assist them in locating and selecting products, while maintaining a clean and safe store environment.

Responsibilities

  • Provides SMART customer service through the execution of Lowe's customer service policies and procedures.
  • Builds relationships with vendors and ensures merchandise resets are completed according to specifications.
  • Collaborates with the Merchandising Service team and Manager to communicate project priorities and needs.
  • Analyzes metrics and provides feedback on project execution and in-store service to leadership.
  • Engages with customers to understand their needs and assists them in locating and selecting merchandise.
  • Moves or replaces beams and grids, rotates stock, and builds displays using power equipment as per project instructions.
  • Identifies and removes damaged products, ensuring they are processed correctly.
  • Verifies buyback items and prepares them for shipping.
  • Updates wayfinding and product location signage throughout the store.
  • Ensures product pricing information is visible and resolves any missing labels.
  • Works with store leadership to stage clearance and damaged merchandise for sale.
  • Maintains cleanliness and organization of the store and working areas, adhering to safety standards.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Experience in retail or customer service is preferred.
  • Ability to operate power equipment safely and effectively.
  • Strong communication skills to interact with customers and team members.
  • Basic math skills for pricing and inventory management.

  • Experience with merchandising and inventory management.
