The Erie Zoo is looking for hardworking, self-motivated and experienced animal care staff to fill multiple positions. Our park is approximately 15 acres and home to a wide variety of species, including numerous Endangered Species. We currently participate in several SSP's and SAFE programs. The zoo is investing in multiple capital projects over the next five years with a focus on exhibit design and upgrades. As part of our ongoing Strategic Planning process, we are dedicated to continued growth in conservation, enhancing our visitor experience and providing a positive and rewarding workplace for our employees. Ideal candidates will value professionalism, open communication and attention to detail. Successful candidates should take pride in their work and in all the animals under their care. Candidates should expect to work independently and within a small team as needed. Creativity and adaptability are encouraged.
