About the position

The Mobile Crisis Specialist role at Santé Group involves providing frontline crisis intervention services in the community. This position focuses on performing assessments, crisis planning, and implementing treatment plans to support individuals in crisis. The specialist will work collaboratively with clients, families, and community partners to ensure effective communication and resource utilization, all while adhering to confidentiality regulations.

Responsibilities

• Perform assessments and crisis intervention, including de-escalation, crisis planning, implementation, and treatment plans.
• Effectively communicate clients' needs while making internal agency or community referrals.
• Complete documentation in an accurate and thorough manner.
• Knowledge and familiarity with community resources, both mental health and non-mental health.
• Serve as a liaison for collaboration with other involved parties, including families, friends, and community partners.
• Educate individuals about mental health, substance abuse, available community resources, and the agency's services.
• Abide by all federal, state, and local laws and regulations related to confidentiality and protected health information.

Requirements

• Master's Degree in Counseling, Social Work, or a related field of study (MSW, MA, MS).
• At least one (1) year professional experience, preferably in a crisis environment.
• Current licensure in the State of Maryland (LMSW or LMSW-C, possible LM or eligible to become licensed).
• Valid Driver's License and proof of current automobile insurance with no more than two (2) points on driving record.
