About the position

The Full-Time Nabisco Merchandiser/Order Writer at Mondelēz International is responsible for fulfilling the merchandising needs of customers by building relationships, stocking shelves, and maintaining displays of iconic snack brands. This role involves in-store visits, product ordering, and ensuring compliance with merchandising guidelines to optimize product visibility and sales.

Responsibilities

• Fulfill merchandising needs through communication and relationship building with in-store employees.
• Stock store shelves and maintain or change out displays of Mondelēz products.
• Represent Mondelēz in front of in-store employees and work closely with sales representatives.
• Carry out in-store visits according to Mondelēz' DSD Merchandising Steps, including capturing pictures of displays.
• Order products via iPad Tablet to ensure stock conditions are met.
• Ensure leading brands are well represented and maintained according to Mondelēz' guidelines.
• Follow negotiated plans with store managers and communicate any issues with management.
• Adhere to the daily schedule set by the merchandising manager for efficient service.
• Enhance seasonal sales and displays, and support new product launches.
• Demonstrate a positive and upbeat attitude while representing Mondelēz.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years of age and possess a valid driver's license and proof of auto insurance.
• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Self-motivated with a positive and professional attitude, able to work independently.
• Ability to drive personal vehicle to various store locations, with mileage reimbursement.
• Ability to perform physical tasks including repetitive lifting, bending, and carrying up to 25 lbs, and occasionally pushing and pulling over 50 lbs.
• Previous retail or grocery experience is a plus.
• Must live within a 25-35 mile range from the primary location in Long Beach, CA.
