About the position
The Medication Aide is responsible for providing high-quality care to residents during night shifts, ensuring that medication administration is performed accurately and compassionately. This role involves daily interactions with residents, family members, and team members, fostering a supportive and caring environment.
Responsibilities
- Administer medications to residents as per prescribed guidelines.
- Interact positively with residents, guests, and family members.
- Maintain accurate records of medication administration.
- Ensure a safe and clean environment for residents.
- Assist in the training and orientation of new staff members.
Requirements
- Completion of state-approved nurse assistant training.
- Completion of Medication Administration Training Program approved by the Division of Aging.
- High personal integrity and a caring attitude.
