About the position

Impact Health Staffing is seeking dedicated and skilled Oncology Registered Nurses (RNs) to join our team in Fort Worth, TX. As an Oncology RN, you will be responsible for providing high-quality nursing care to patients undergoing treatment for cancer. Your role will involve quickly and accurately assessing patient care needs, diagnosing, and developing treatment plans in collaboration with doctors and other healthcare staff. You will also be responsible for completing necessary paperwork and patient charting, ensuring that all documentation is accurate and up-to-date. In this position, you will manage multiple cases simultaneously, prioritizing patient needs continually. You will utilize various strategies and available resources to problem-solve for patients, their families, and staff. Delegation of tasks and care to appropriate staff members will be a key part of your responsibilities, ensuring timely follow-up and continuity of care. You will also play a crucial role in facilitating learning for patients and families, nursing staff, and other members of the healthcare team, integrating appropriate education throughout the continuum of care to empower them to participate in their healthcare decisions. As an Oncology RN, you will be committed to preserving and protecting the confidentiality, autonomy, dignity, and rights of patients and their families, representing their concerns effectively. Additionally, you will participate in quality and performance improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and outcomes. Responsibilities

Requirements

  • 1+ year(s) of Oncology RN experience required
  • Graduate of an accredited school of nursing, BSN preferred
  • Unencumbered Texas or Compact RN license required
  • Nicotine Free
  • BLS required
