About the position

We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality nursing care to patients in a clinical setting, working under the supervision of a registered nurse and a physician to ensure appropriate medical attention and support for patients.

Responsibilities

• Deliver direct patient care, including administering medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Assist with medical procedures such as IV hydration, vitamin injections, and SubQ injections.
• Monitor patient vital signs and report any changes to the supervising nurse or physician.
• Maintain accurate medical documentation in compliance with facility policies and regulations.
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to develop and implement individualized patient care.
• Provide education to patients.
• Participate in emergency medicine procedures when necessary.
• Utilize electronic health record systems such as Jane App for efficient patient management.

Requirements

• Current Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) license in the state of practice.
• Experience in a clinical setting is preferred.
• Proficiency in medical-surgical nursing practices.
• Strong skills in medical documentation and patient assessment.
• Familiarity with starting and discontinuing IVs is a plus.
• Ability to perform phlebotomy procedures competently.
• Excellent communication skills and a compassionate approach to patient care.
• Willingness to work flexible hours.
