About the position

The Full-Time Personal Care Assistant role at Around The Clock Care involves providing essential in-home care for elderly clients, particularly those with Alzheimer's and dementia. The position requires working night shifts from 9:00 PM to 6:00 AM, focusing on improving the quality of life for seniors through personal care and support.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care and assistance to elderly clients in their homes.
• Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, and grooming.
• Communicate effectively with clients and their families to ensure their needs are met.
• Maintain a safe and clean environment for clients.
• Complete necessary documentation and reports regarding client care.

Requirements

• Experience in caregiving, particularly with elderly clients.
• Knowledge of Alzheimer's and dementia care.
• Ability to perform all Activities of Daily Living (ADLs).
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Mature, responsible, and trustworthy demeanor.
• Own transportation is required.
• Must pass a national criminal background check, DMV check, and drug screening.

Nice-to-haves

• 1 year of caregiving experience preferred.
• Ability to relocate to Evansville, IN before starting work.
