About The Position

The Physical Therapist at JAG Physical Therapy is responsible for assessing patients' strengths and weaknesses to create effective treatment plans aimed at healing and maximizing functional independence. This role requires a positive and energetic approach to patient care, focusing on encouraging patients to achieve their rehabilitation goals. The therapist will work both independently and as part of a team, utilizing their clinical knowledge and skills to implement treatment plans and ensure high-quality patient care.

Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Physical Therapy required; Doctorate degree preferred.
• Experience or knowledge with EMR software.
• Basic computer skills.
• Ability to work as a team member and independently with minimal supervision.

Nice To Haves

• Experience in outpatient orthopedic physical therapy.
• Familiarity with billing and coding practices.

Responsibilities

• Assess patients' strengths and weaknesses to devise treatment plans.
• Implement and execute daily care plans for patients.
• Collect and record patient care data in compliance with regulatory guidelines.
• Prepare for evaluations by obtaining patient history and understanding diagnoses.
• Provide education and training to patients and their support systems.
• Oversee support staff including PTA, ATC, and PT aides.
• Promote JAG Physical Therapy in the community through lectures and presentations.
