About the position
The Physical Therapist at JAG Physical Therapy is responsible for assessing patients' strengths and weaknesses to create effective treatment plans aimed at healing and maximizing functional independence. This role requires a positive and energetic approach to patient care, utilizing clinical knowledge to implement and execute treatment plans daily. The position is part of a comprehensive outpatient orthopedic physical therapy company known for its high standards and commitment to patient outcomes.
Responsibilities
- Assess patients' strengths and weaknesses to devise treatment plans.
- Implement and execute daily treatment plans based on clinical knowledge.
- Collect and record patient care data in compliance with regulatory guidelines.
- Prepare for evaluations by obtaining patient history and understanding diagnoses.
- Provide education and training to patients and their support systems.
- Oversee support staff including PTA, ATC, and PT aides.
- Promote JAG Physical Therapy in the community through lectures and presentations.
Requirements
- Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Physical Therapy required; Doctorate degree preferred.
- Experience and knowledge with EMR software.
- Basic computer skills.
- Ability to work as a team member and independently with minimal supervision.
Nice-to-haves
- Experience in outpatient orthopedic physical therapy.
- Familiarity with billing and coding practices.
