About the position

We are seeking a dynamic PowerBI and Tableau Instructor to join our team at Hackbright Academy. This temporary, on-site role in Charlotte, North Carolina, involves sharing expertise in PowerBI, Tableau, and data visualization with a motivated group of learners. The instructor will ensure that students grasp key concepts and skills, providing the necessary support for successful project completion.

Responsibilities

• Skillfully deliver and facilitate course content to inspire students.
• Lead engaging in-class exercises and provide hands-on guidance during project time.
• Conduct regular student reviews and critiques, providing valuable feedback.
• Encourage and motivate students as they navigate learning challenges.
• Provide prompt and meaningful feedback to students on their progress.
• Take ownership of the curriculum and related GitHub repositories, ensuring excellence.

Requirements

• Minimum of 1 year of experience in a PowerBI and Tableau position.
• Expertise in PowerBI and Tableau, including visualization techniques and dashboard design.
• Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate with colleagues.
• Ability to give and receive constructive feedback.

Nice-to-haves
