About the position

We are seeking a dynamic PowerBI and Tableau Instructor to join our team at Hackbright Academy. This temporary, on-site role in Charlotte, North Carolina, involves shaping and guiding the learning experience of students in data visualization and analytics. The instructor will share their expertise in PowerBI and Tableau, ensuring students grasp key concepts and skills necessary for their projects.

Responsibilities

• Skillfully deliver and facilitate course content to inspire students.
• Lead engaging in-class exercises and provide hands-on guidance during project time.
• Conduct regular student reviews and critiques, providing valuable feedback.
• Encourage and motivate students as they navigate learning challenges.
• Provide prompt and meaningful feedback to students on their progress.
• Take ownership of the curriculum and related projects, ensuring excellence.

Requirements

• Minimum of 1 year of experience in a PowerBI and Tableau position.
• Expertise in PowerBI and Tableau, including visualization techniques and dashboard design.
• Strong ability to communicate effectively and collaborate with colleagues.
• A talent for creatively teaching technical topics through engaging lectures.

Nice-to-haves

• Previous experience teaching, mentoring, instructing, or tutoring.
• Self-taught developer or Bootcamp graduate.
