About the position
We are seeking a full-time motivated individual to join our team as a Preschool Teacher Assistant. In this role, you will support the lead teachers in preparing educational materials and engaging with children in a nurturing and stimulating environment. Your primary responsibility will be to assist in the daily activities of the classroom, ensuring that each child receives the attention and guidance they need to thrive. You will be a role model for our three-year-olds, helping to foster their social, emotional, and cognitive development through play and structured activities. Responsibilities
- Support lead teachers in preparing educational materials and activities.
- Engage with children during play and learning activities.
- Assist in maintaining a clean and organized classroom environment.
- Foster positive relationships with children, encouraging their social and emotional development.
- Help supervise children during indoor and outdoor activities.
- Communicate effectively with teachers and parents regarding children's progress.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Experience working with young children preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
- Patience and a nurturing attitude towards children.
Nice-to-haves
- Previous experience in a preschool or childcare setting.
- First Aid and CPR certification.
