About The Position

The Quality Engineer (QE) at Philips is responsible for providing quality support to processes related to the development of new solutions and the improvement of quality systems and practices. This role ensures compliance with regulatory requirements, addresses non-conformances, and enhances quality systems throughout the product lifecycle.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in an engineering or science discipline.
  • Ability to work on issues of diverse scope requiring evaluation of various factors.
  • Follows processes and operational policies in selecting methods and techniques for obtaining solutions.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills; proficient with Microsoft Office suite products.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure appropriate quality plans are developed that encompass all stages of the solution's lifecycle and support Quality Plan design.
  • Perform independent technical assessments on solution/service quality performance and conduct post-market quality analysis.
  • Utilize post-market analytics and statistics to report on product quality performance in the field, providing feedback to manufacturing, suppliers, or design teams, and initiate field actions when necessary.
  • Interact frequently with functional peer groups, requiring the ability to gain cooperation and conduct presentations of technical information regarding specific projects or schedules.
  • Conduct timely quality tasks such as assessing quality plans and solution/service designs, reviewing test and performance data, analyzing market feedback, leading root cause analysis, and quality problem-solving.
